A good pair of Boots tell your story…while sanding one day I noticed dust on my boots, I started to clean them but thought about my boots, the places “we” have been, and about all God has and is doing. I decided against cleaning them and Dusty Boots Woodcraft was born.

Every piece of wood has a story to tell, and what truly defines us is our passion for telling its story.  We respect the material and strive to prepare and assemble each piece in a manner to feature the woods’ natural beauty.  Grains and knots tell the story of a tree’s struggle to thrive and reach new heights before its ultimate harvest. Seeing the colors and grain patterns resulting from this struggle is beautiful.  We are blessed to see God’s handiwork every time we part the fibers of a piece of wood and see what no one has ever seen before.  The attention to detail continues as we study the colors and grain to plan the cuts in a way to showcase the wood’s natural beauty.

Using only the finest materials and fasteners, the magic begins to happen as we assemble the pieces in a manner to magnify its collective beauty.  Drawn to the natural beauty of wood, there’s certainly a time and place for covering finishes, but we prefer natural oil, wax and varnish finishes that enhance the wood’s natural beauty.  The magic is complete when the final finish is applied, the piece comes to life and Gods handiwork is evident, on full display and captured in time by the work of our hands. Like a fleeting Sunset that showcases Gods handiwork, a piece of handcrafted wood captures it in time for all to see and enjoy.
